how to play
Rules
If you're a fan of paintball or laser tag, you'll love Archery Tag®. It's like dodgeball, without giving that beefy guy from gym class all the advantage. Two teams face off, each player with his/her bow in hand. There's a race to retrieve the arrows in the middle, and then chaos ensues. After the opening rush, players eliminate members of the opposing team by shooting them or catching their arrows. Play ends when a team runs out of players. Feel free to add your own rules! |
Field of Play
Each team has its own side, with a Safe Zone (or no-man's-land) in the middle. DO NOT shoot at someone in the Safe Zone, if you do, you're out. Each side has 3 barriers, and a target at the front (optional).
Archery Tag can be played anywhere - indoors or outdoors. Just make sure you have a space about the size of a tennis court. Ideal locations include backyards, local parks, or gyms.
